Huge range of music from reverend horton heat, black keys, johnny cash, jesse al tuscan and the lumber jacks, johnny horton, john spencer, social distorsion, the cramps, the fendermen, the royalcrowns, mat hole and the hot rod gang, merle haggard, link wray and the list is only getting started.
Breaker breaker little buddies, there's a hot delivery on the highways and it's coming your way....... The Ten Fours first loaded up and hauled arse in late 2003 and have been playing up a storm in and around Brisbane on a fairly frequent basis since then. They have formed quite a large and loyal fan base and venues such as Ric's Café, The Troubadour, The jubilee and Bar Burlesque in the Valley have been regular outlets at different times for the devoted to get their fix of hard haulin', gear jammin', Detroit diesel powered ear candy which they are happy to dish out as often as poss'. Along with appearances at the Eliminators, the Alley, The Tivoli, Ipswich hot rod show, Greazefest and Wintersun to name a few and many private shows at blow ups all across the S.E.. They are a Brisbane based rockabilly/country/etc four piece band. Incl' Paulie (ex West Texas Crude) on double bass, Morty (ex Tractor Jacks) on lead Gretsch guitar, Steven Von Schtickler (ex starlight Ramblers and every Brisbane based punk/rock band since 1970) on drums and Pony (of Slingsots, Psyclones fame) on rythym guitar and lead vox plus many special guest musicians. 2008 will hopefully see the appearance of a long awaited first recording to give the punters something to ROCK themselves to sleep with on those lonely nites while waiting for the next show. So keep your ears to the white line and listen out for the next rumble in the tarmac coming your way, cause the Ten Fours are sure to be rattlin you windows real soon like. Over and Out!
