the Theory of George is a three-man-one-girl, indie-folk-rock,
part-acoustic outfit, descended from jazz through metal, garnished with
awkward humor. Fairfield’s Matt will lead the band with his soulful
originals. Fairfield’s David will give you those songs of his you’ve
always wanted to hear live. Fairfield’s Darla will kill the electric bass
guitar and annihilate some alto/tenor harmonies (in a very lady-like way).
Dan is from Massacheusetts. We don’t know what he does. (update: sources
say Dan will open the show with a flourish of his sharp-dressed folk,
funk, jazz and rock numbers, and power the house with his vocal
marksmanship.) You’ve been waiting for this and you will be there.
