   About The Thorazine Mirrorball
"Jack Maeby is one of those rare, soul-infused artists whose work is a reflection of having packed a lot of living into his time on earth so far, and who knows how to express it all… Maeby picks up the ball where William Kennedy dropped it by acutely rendering the long-gone world of Albany's interracial jazz joints and gritty halfway houses circa 1972." – Steve Hopkins, The Kingston Times.......... "Maeby has created a superb thriller in this taut and colorful novel…each word is precisely placed and potent." – Aaron Paul Lazar, author of The LeGarde Mysteries, in Futures Mystery Magazine.......... "A thriller of exciting proportions…a brilliantly penned novel." – Cocktail Reviews.......... "The author has a clear understanding of mental illness, and writes about it through Jimmy's eyes with compassion…The suspense is gripping, and Mr. Maeby uses it to move along the story like a pro. This is a fantastic read that I wholeheartedly recommend." – Coffee Time Reviews.......... Each of Maeby's characters tremble with life…the prose flows effortlessly." –The Compulsive Reader...........

Millie - Whoo Hoo I'm still writing!

Hooray there's a sequel!! Please keep writing, I really love it :)

From this side of the world, it's a bit hard. I have lots of ideas right now, but they are taking awhile. I'm concentrating in short stories/novellas right now. I'm hoping to continue getting new things out there. I need to keep building my "audience" of which I have none.

Are you still writing? I cannot find any other books by you. Only Jimmy Mack's story.

Yes and when I saw that your book was a mystery I picked up right away from the Wild Child website.
You really wrote an amazing book :)

I want you to know that I'm currently reading the book and I'm loving it more and more!

Your book keeps me turning the pages! The writing is amazing!

And it reminds me of the story Sonny's Blues but in book form and more excitement :)

Jimmy Mack is very lovable and so are his friends and his foes. I love the good and the bad in this book.

It's completely exciting!!

Love,

Millie
