About The Three Ages Of Elvis
A little known fact lies that in fact we are not kings at all. A sideburned bird spotter, a drunken train spotter and an intensive care nurse walk into a bar. It's in this bar that they decide to play some songs for a friend's birthday. This is a surprising triumph (or at least is was in our alcohol soaked brains...) We decide we shall continue this unholy trinity to the point of broken strings, broken amps and a show akin to 'carnage on a stick.' All whilst trying to remember the next change that's only seconds away... this is knife edge stuff! We've even managed to record some tunes... Oh yeah! We are a 'serious' band and sound nothing like Elvis...

Enjoyed the gigette on Friday at the Yorkie...nice to hear an old Limebirds toon creep into the set and particularly enjoyed the cover of "I'm so lonesome I could cry" with Mark 50 on harmonica.

This Et Al
(www. thisetal. com / www. myspace. com/thisetal)
Leeds based This Et Al have been compared to the likes of My Bloody Valentine, ...Trail Of Dead, Queens of the Stone Age and Interpol.

“It’s Muse without the pompousness. It’s Sonic Youth with catchy songs. It’s This Et Al and its ace.” – NME

Dan Haywood's New Hawks www. myspace. com/newhawks
Lancaster's very own cosmic force. If you're not yet aquainted with the live New Hawks experience, you must get it in yer soul.

I Am Your Autopilot www. myspace. com/iamyourautopilot
Sublime folk-tronica from Manchester. A rare live outing - graceful electronics meets folk - rumour has it that Raz (Starless & Bible Black) will be guesting on synth...

Little Pebble www. myspace. com/pebblelittle
Edinburgh's Little Pebble also had releases out by his chums at the Fence Collective. His finger-picking of beautiful melodies and charming observations make for a beguiling combination. Last seen in Lancaster in Come in Tokyo, his garage-rock incarnation.

Sally Murray www. myspace. com/sallymurraythemusical
Nottingham's Sally Murray (now based in Manchester) is the new rising star of Timbreland. Amazing voice and guitar playing - recordings coming soon!

Corn Capri www. myspace. com/corncapri
Manchester's Corn Capri is the solo guise of Pete Philipson, guitarist/songwriter of Starless & Bible Black, and his trademark inventive and tasteful guitar playing will be on display stripped down.
