I love too many movies. But my favorite film directors are Oliver Stone, Luis Buñuel,Salvador Carrasco (everyone should check out "The Other Conquest"), Quentin Tarantino, Fritz Lang, Fernando Arrabal, Sergei Eisenstein, Werner Herzog, Miguel Littin, Costa Garvas, Michael Moore and Jean-Luc Godard.
Television
The Tudors, Rome. Most TV is dead, I do indulge in a few "That 70s Show" re-runs now and then. Mainstream news outlets are just propaganda models by now, except independent sources like "Democracy Now" or LinkTV. Mosaic is an excellent program compiling news broadcasts from the Middle East. I also recommend people check out the website for Telesur, South America's version of Al Jazeera.
