.. .. .. .. .. The Tickets: Bryan Shaddix, Brian Martin, Marcos de la Cruz, Andy Winston.. Four guys that for some reason have a certain magical musical touch when they get together on stage and in the studio... We wont bore you with ancient history and such, but The Tickets, originally hailing from Anaheim, CA were one of the most successful Orange County cover bands from 1987-1994. It was during that whirlwind period of time in the late 80's, that the band went into 'For the Record' recording studio in Orange, CA with Producer Eric Gartens (the famed 'E'), and recorded some amazing original music that was to become a cassette only release entitled "The Tickets Make A Record", originally released in 1990... Time went on, the "Seattle Sound" became the norm, the band members went their separate ways. Lots of things changed over the years since the band went away but a close friendship always remained between the four of us. .. Suddenly its 2006, the unearthed original analog master 24-track recordings of the 1990 release have been digitalized, re-mastered, re-mixed and generally polished up by our good friend Walter Clevenger (www.walterclevenger.com) and voila, we have a 'new' CD, complete with some alternate takes, and a couple of very rare gems from an original "Blue Vinyl Single" released in 1986... The Tickets will be reuniting for a few select shows in 2007 and who knows what will happen? Shea Stadium? American Idol? The Tickets Cartoon? Probably not.. The music is timeless, the recording is first class, and the band knows how to have fun and rock. Check out our 'Blog' section for some reviews of the CD. ................ ..
