Formally a musical entity in late winter of 2008, The Forest have been creating music with a variety of individuals as of late. We strive to create something unique in the city that seems to be somewhat devoid of musical variety. And playing music is not our only destination, we hope to involve anyone we can in an artistic endeavor that blends the lines of who is The Forest and who is audience. Our influences and goals cover a broad spectrum, from heavy classic rock riffs, pounding punk rhythms, to epic soundscapes, and everything in between. With more and more time, our live shows and recorded songs have began to diverge. Embrace Experimental Music and Long Live DIY!!! Thanks for your interest!!
