The Tim Facemyer Band is a versatile trio with blues-rock roots and a jam band feel. While they are primarily based on the East Side of Cleveland, they have aspirations of sharing their musical vision with the entire Lake Erie Region.
(Guitar) Tim’s playing is distinct: a mixture of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Hendrix, and Eric Clapton along with some Derek Trucks, Allman Brothers, and Eric Johnson. With the occasional bluegrass or country phrase, Tim always seems to play the right notes for the occasion. Tim’s vocals are equally impressive. His soulful voice can be thought of as a mixture of classic rock singers Kim Wilson (Fabulous Thunderbirds) and Paul Rodgers (Bad Company). His blues-based gospel sound is both powerful and heartfelt. Tim is the consummate musician, highly proficient at many instruments and engaged in delivering his sound to others.
(Bass) Justin Butcher and Tim have been friends for the past 15 years. During this time, they harnessed their sound together in the band, Second Wind. Their love for music really transpires through their dedication to establishing groove and providing consistent tone. Not only does Justin provide the foundation for the band, he also is a highly talented artist as well as an avid record collector.
(Drums) Chad Komocki has worked with Tim for the past three years in a variety of settings—first with CRC and then during Tim’s final year of a 10 year journey with Johnny Lambert and Full House. Chad’s roots are classical, jazz, and fusion, but he loves to play rock and funk. His high energy beats and upbeat interaction provide an exciting dynamic to the show.

Thanks to our loyal following. We had a blast last night at The Willowick: Marcia, Kelly, Lisa, Ronnie, Jessie, Adrian, Ron, Jen, Ron, Teresa, Jimmy, Laurie, Johnny, Sharon, Tim, Bill, Diane, and the rest of you guys. We're glad that you had a great time. Next week Saturday at the Firehouse (4/19/2008), we'll be really close. See you soon.
For all you Basket fans...we are really looking forward to TFB opening for The Clam Baskets sometime in May! Hopefully we'll have more than 4 songs by then! Look for a special announcement in the weeks to come.
Thanks for coming out to the firehouse on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. Who would have thought that we would have played the Zeppelin Medley and Voodoo Chile in one show. Props to the Clambaskets who showed up: (Ron, Ron, & Tim) as well as Jimmy New Town, Teresa, Jen, Kathy, Vince, Kelly, Sandy, Mike, Marcia, Nick, Marla, Bill & Meg, Leslie, and many more friends. We really like playing in a small setting from time to time because we get the opportunity to interact with the crowd. TFB will be back at the Firehouse on April 19th. Thanks, Jimmy and Ron, for leaving the Clambaskets advertisement on the back of my Van. Looking forward to seeing you soon... Perhaps at the New Town this Saturday Night with The Fillin' Station. -Chad ***I am determined to spread the word about The Facemyer Band. I will continue to be giving away CD's to folks who come to the gig and still need them. Not to mention, Tim and I will have to master some other material that we have from last summer. Take care, and see you soon.
Chad, Tim, & Justin: Great Job at Witz End the other night. Anybody out there reading this, next time you go and see the band, take someone with you that has never seen them before. Anybody who appreciates great music done right will thank you for turning them on to the TFB. Work commitment prevents me from seeing you this Saturday, but see you at the Firehouse, I will be spreading the word!
Thanks to all the folks who came out to the Witz End including Mike, Marcia, Sandy, Kelly, Ben, Donna, Jim, Ron, Jen, Ronnie, Jessie, Jimmy, Mike, and the rest of younz. We appreicate your support considerably. If you want a more intimate atmosphere, come out to the Firehouse Grille and Pub on the 23rd of February.
