About me: Our canine daughter of 6.5 years went missing at 11:15 pm, Jan. 9. We suspect she was stolen due to suspicious events that occured the prior week. Call 676-1974 or 676-1975 with information. There is a reward for her safe return.
Maybe she got out on her own and was picked up later, but no one has made an effort to return her. Perhaps they just don't know how much her family is missing her.
PLEASE, check in with your family, your friends, your neighbors to see if anyone has taken in an adult, chocloate and white lab-MIX.
She is spayed.
And she is MICRO-chipped. Which means that her identity as part of our family is recorded at the VET, the local animal shelter and a national pet identification service called AVID. A swipe of a scanner will reveal her identity. It will NOT act as a GPS tracker.
We hung 900 color print posters on the telephone poles repeatedly from the time she disappeared until now. They have all melted with rain, despite the ziplock bag protectors.
We are hoping to reach more people throughout Lufkin and East Texas with her information in hopes that she will be seen and recovered.We need YOUR help.
We filed a police report, ran ads in the newspaper and Peddler for weeks, took them to the area vets, and visit the pound daily.
Thank you to Pizza Hut for distributing nearly 1,000 other fliers and posting her image at both local stores. Thank you, also to Starbucks, and Mom's Diner for the same. Thank you also to the Lufkin police, US Postal Men, the Electric meter men, Lufkin utility men, and county commissioner road crews for taking her information and helping look.
Stormy, we miss you. You are in God's hands. He knows where you are. He is in control.
Who I'd like to meet: Right now, there is no one we'd like to meet more than the person or people who have our dog or know where she is. They say it's a matter of finding the last person who saw your dog.

Yeah, I just had a blah day. I'm so thankful to have a great husband to come home to and my cat safe and sound on my lap. Could have been a much worse Monday, but I still wanted to vent. Then I set it to private because there's really no need for the world to read my drama. :)
I'm sorry your Easter didn't bring good news about Stormy. You're in my prayers every day.

Pixel has ringworm. I have no idea how she got it, since she's an indoor cat. Chris has it, too. Not sure who gave it to whom. I hate it when my little girl is sick. :(

I WAS STANDING IN THE KITCHEN ON MY LUNCH BREAK WHEN IT CAME ON. THEY HAD A PIC UP OF THE NEXT MISSING PUP FROM COLMESNEIL BY THE TIME I GOT IN THERE TO SEE, SO I FEEL SURE THEY HAD STORMYS PIC UP TOO. THEY GAVE HER DESCRIPTION AND CONTACT INFO. I DID HEAR THAT. I WILL SEE IF I CAN FIND A LINK TO IT ON KFDM'S WEB SITE. DON'T GIVE UP!!!!
I'm sorry about your dog...really. I live in Doucette, so I don't know if he/she (don't know the gender, sorry) would have found their way here. But, I'll keep a look out. Who knows?
