kemp moved to greensboro from winston in aug 2005. moved in with chris and joe. things got bad for kemp. dropped everything, starting writing some songs. jan 2006 asked chris (geezer lake, slowchange madagascar, the scholarships) and joe (urinal, taija rae) to jam. jamming commenced. things sort of clicked. asked mark (health, curses) to play some bass. agreed. wrote some more songs. drank a bit. played first show july 2006 @ corndale. drank a lot. 2nd show @ the flying anvil w/ man man. we sucked, they were great. continued writing a little bit, continued drinking more. played more shows. friends were nice. new aquaintances were nice too. eben (health) starting jamming ..s. it was awesome. started recording an ep @ soundlab. eben moved away. eventually a different sort of need arose. larry started playing drums. ep (w/ joe) still in progress. some shows played w/ larry. good times. ep (w/ joe) still in progress. new songs, ideas, goals in progress. sort of. recording ourselves @ the compound seems like a great idea. still remains to be seen.

I found this on a science newsletter's website and thought that I should share:
Most of Greensboro is covered by gallons and gallons of blood - the result of bombardment by The Tiny Meteors over millions of years. On a microscopic scale, the pummelling has mangled faces, turned eyballs to glass and produced chemical and physical changes that influence the way the body scatters and reflects sound from a screaming mouth. It is an awesome power found only in this tiny corner of the universe and only the mighty hands of the gods may keep it contained.
