The Title Ceremony is a intrumental/ experimental/ ambiet project out of wilmington NC. Their stereophonic audio creations presented to masses creates a sense of weightlessness in a room with air that feels heavier than lead. The Title Ceremony does draw some inspiration fromother bands, but they have an original sound that blends silence with noise, passion with discomfort, and love with war. With the outbreak of many indie-instramental bands in the past 5 to 10 years, The Title Ceremony has found a niche in the music scene that is thriving on new and even more original sounds than the last group. The bands main influences from present groups are: Mogwai, Kinski, Explosions in the Sky, Maserati, Godspeed you Black Emperor, The Mercury Program, and Silver Mount Zion. With blue as well as grey skies on the horizon, the title ceremony continues to charm newcomers into joining their cultish fan club. While they make it evident that this is a band that will only continue to astound those who continue to come to their most recent sightings.
In mid 2006 The Title Ceremony decided to take a break from this group for a while. we are currently working on other projects including Study of the Sirens, and Man Thinking. there are no current plans for getting another go round going, but this is a project that we all dearly miss and will work on agian. we are currently working on releasing some tracks that had been forgotten about and will be posting them within the next few months.
thanx to all who support TTC

.. Hi there The Title Ceremony first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people you can click the link below to visit our profile which wlil provide you with more information and also give you the link to our website! I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.

Hey whats up! We (members of Codeseven) have started a new project called Telescreen and have added music and a video up from our first show. This project is a bit more visual than Codeseven but musically still very similar (Spacey / Ambient). Be sure to add us so we can keep you up to date with the new band while c7 remains on hiatus. We are extremely passionate about this project and have spent over a year getting this ready musically and visually. We're doing our first hometown show (Winston-Salem, NC) this thursday with our great friends Woven who are coming all the way from LA. Make sure to check out the shows on the telescreen site for more info. www.myspace.com/telescreenmusic
