This sequel [HEARTLAND] to “Eastern Kentucky” was worth waiting for. This project picks up where the other one leaves off. Great song selection, thought provoking original material and superb lead and harmony singing. After hearing Tommy’ angelic voice you want to hear more. It is very addictive. There are so many high points to this project that you can’t list them all. On a personal level, I really enjoyed his clawhammer banjo on Little Sadie and Clinch Mountain Backstep. It gave this project a great old time feel. After playing this project in total, my request line was constantly busy. On a scale of 1 to 10, this is a 12!!!!

"Tommy Webb is one of those rare "Down to Earth, No Sugar Coating" talents that comes along once in a grand while that grabs you and makes you listen. His style is his own, his voice, well, it's Tommy, not too polished, not too rough just character, the way I like to hear singing and playing, and in today's market that is a wonderful thing, sitting him apart, already from a large group of singers. This is the third CD of Tommy's that I have been a part of, and from that first time I hit the record button and heard him sing, I knew that I, along with the rest of the bluegrass and acoustic music world would be hearing a lot more from this guy, and hopefully I would be involved!" – Ron Stewart, Producer / Musician

Tommy Webb
is one of those singers who can evoke pure emotion with every note.
Whether it's an upbeat, driving bluegrass tune or one of those
heartbreakers like "Teardrop Inn", Tommy makes you believe he's lived
every line. Tommy Webb is truly a great voice in bluegrass music!

Tommy Webb is a wonderfully talented and exciting new artist that I've become a big fan of. It's bands like his that keeps the heart of Bluegrass music beating strongly. Tommy's new song A Hard Row to Hoe - reaches the heart of the everyday man/woman's and their plight - working honestly for a living, enduring through hard times, just trying to survive, I think this tune is and will be, a definite hit among more than just Bluegrass fans, as it is already with me. Thanks Tommy and boys - for hittin' the nail on the head with this tune at this most difficult time in our beloved America and also the World."

“I love Tommy’s music ! His music is hard driving and yet soothing and he has a style of his own. When you hear Tommy sing you know it’s him right from the start. His voice was made for bluegrass music and when he sings a song he sure makes it his own. Here at WMMT we can’t get enough of his music and the listeners request his music everyday. Tommy is most defiantly a force in the bluegrass music world and will continue to be as long as he continues to sing bluegrass music.”- Little Debbie, WMMT Radio 88.7

“I first heard Tommy Webb on XM Radio and his singing and picking just blew me away. After hearing his music, I decided to do a little research and discovered Tommy is from the same part of Kentucky as I am. Then I discovered his banjo player is Chris Goble who happens to be my cousin. Tommy has put together a very talented group of musicians. They think alike and play as a team which makes for a perfect combination of talent and song.
Not only is Tommy a talented vocalist, but an accomplished songwriter as well. I’m thrilled this new CD album will be released on the Rural Rhythm Records label and commend Sam Passamano for the wise decision to release Tommy Webb’s new album on his label of fine music. I feel confident that when you hear “Tommy Webb”, you will want this album to be part of your music collection. I’m so honored to know Tommy and his band and even more honored to recommend his new album”
