*********Torment-Id, (pronounced Torment Id. It is 2 words, Torment and Id.) started with the efforts of Beast, (aka David D.), guitar player, in April of 2007.
The idea for the band and name, Torment-Id, came from an old term
used to describe the ego of the subconscious part of the human brain.
The Id. The concept, tormenting the subconscious human mind......
thus Torment-Id was created, from the depths of a tormented mind!

Formed in 2007, Torment-Id went through several musicians, looking for the right mix. It was tough, but it had to be done.
In 2008, the band started gigging, and shared the stage with some very awesome bands. Friends were made at many shows.......in late 2008, the majority of the band left to go on to other projects. New members came, went, stayed, then went. In early 2009, the band was once again, gigging. Torment-Id continued to search for the right mix. By Mid-2009, a new bass player was added as well as a drummer. But the drummer was only a temp. The search for a more permanent drummer continued. In early Oct, a drummer from another band helped us out with a show with God Dethroned. Soon after, he became the new Drum Lord and took his place among the Torment-Id crew. We continued gigging and recording new songs....stay tuned. TO "C" Standard!!!!!!!!!!! Heavy!
