Insurgent Alt Country Rockers Tornado Magnet Mix equal parts early Rolling Stones, Wilco, Jay Hawks, Son Volt, Golden Smog, Grahm Parsons, Traveling Wilburys, Tom Petty, Allmon Brothers, Jackson Browne, The Bryds, New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Radio Head, Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams, old 97’s and put it in a blender on puree for two years and you have, the multi hybrid sophomore release from Tornado Magnet titled “Bobs Your Uncle”. Set to drop early Summer 2011, the new record features Beat Farmer Joey Harris, Phillip Bensimon, Mike Ashley, Tom Owens & Doug Meyer (Bastard Sons Of Johnny Cash, Whiskey Tango, The Hideaways), and Wolfgang Gresakemp (Hazel O’Connor, Tony Sheridan, Dave Humphries). The first Single Titled “Fade To Blue” is about a walk on the dark side of loss in the bowels of depression hell, and the sonic trip leads to the light at the end of the tunnel through redemption and salvation.
