The reason for this eclectic sound is probably because of how The Trail was created. The pair had been composing and playing music over the years, as solo artists and in various bands, and decided to join forces and combine each others material and influences. This resulted in sets of truely epic lengths, with one of their regular gigs seeing three hour long nights of their original music. They performed around the London and Hertfordshire circuits over the last eight months, one of their best gigs taking place at the famous 12 Bar Club in London. With further writing and an album on self release, The Trail have been promoting themselves with radioplay and interviews, a professional extreme ski sports DVD featuring their music being released worldwide and most recently their song, Taste For Something New, was voted number one in the sonvault blues chart finals above 200 other artists across the globe.
