The Tranquis from Groningen (Netherlands) are a peculiar yet steady ensemble of well groomed young men that perform particularly well during rehearsals. Free drinks also contribute considerably to their performance. After years of tranquil insignificance these lighthearted nihilists have discovered that the wonders of digital recording enable even the unambitious to produce their own CD. Having their own website isn’t too bad either! They have been described as one of the best kept secrets of the Groningen underground-scene; it is equivalently secret who labeled them as such.
