Hungarian rock and roll band THE TROUSERS (formed in 2004) began to play severe gigs (Budapest clubscene, Sziget Fesztivál, ALAN McGEE's Death Disco JATE Klub, Szeged with HS7) around 2006. Beside some magazin features (Wan2, Zenész, PEP!) the band appeared on a promotional hungarian independent collection cd called DANUBE DISCO. In spring, 2007 Mamazone Records released their DIVE INSANE EP, and in july the band played on MELT!FESTIVAL (G), on the same day as their long-time favourite BRMC!!!

In the summer the single BLOOD FOR YOU came out on a compilation called "Riot on Sunset vol 5" in Hollywood, CA (later in French as well) and in november the song reached Number 1 position at Hungary's famous national radio MR2. In january, 2008 the video for this song reached No 6 position on MTV Hungary. In february, 2008 the band played a gig at Brussels' legendary Botanique Club, after that March Ákos Örményi (recently in ÓRIÁS) replaced former bass player Z. Vekerdi.
At the end of may, 2008 The Trousers debut album PLANETARY PROCESS produced by Peter Kovary (of famous hungarian indie-electro band NEO) was finally released by MamaZone, and get really good rewiews. In june The Trousers decided to go on as a quartet.

After a loads of concerts, in spring, 2009 bassist Nicki D joined on bass, and the band - getting better and better - toured in Hungary with hungarian alternative rock superstars like HEAVEN STREET SEVEN, KISCSILLAG, SUPERNEM, AMBER SMITH and KISPÁL ÉS A BORZ. In april they shot a video for DOCTOR KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF ME (coming soon!!!), and in may The Trousers appeared in Coppengahen, on the famous GUTTER ISLAND ROCK FESTIVAL (DK), and supported Denmarks's rock n roll superstars THE BLUE VAN.
This summer the band is recording their second album, SOUL MACHINE. The first songs will be heard in MYSPACE around november. The video of one of their older songs, DOCTOR KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF ME was released september, and swiss ROCK LABEL TV (www.rocklabel.tv) began to broadcast it on web and on their channel, too; meanwhile the song reached No 2 position on belgian RADIO NOSIE CORPORATION's chart (www.rnc.be.cx).
