Em janeiro de 2006 nasce da mente de Lucius Cristian Raper a Unholy,tendo como único intuito fazer um som ofensivo e violento.Com o passar do tempo entra na banda King Vulture,assumindo o posto do baixo,começando então a longa jornada que muitas bandas passam para achar um baterista.Com todas as musicas feitas para começar o caos, muitos passam pela banda como candidatos a vaga,mas parece ser uma difícil tarefa arranjar um baterista interessado,competente e com tempo para investir numa banda de metal extremo.Entra na banda então Tiago Marques na bateria,seguido da idéia de acrescentar uma nova guitarra,Meherith assume a segunda guitarra da banda e assim os ensaios rendem e a banda após muito tempo começa a sair do papel.Apos alguns meses Tiago Marque sai da banda e começa novamente a jornada em busca de um baterista,muito tempo se passa e o problema continua,foi quando surgiu a idéia de gravar uma demo,sendo contratado o musico Louis(Cobalto,Agnes,Tharsis),que exerceu muito bem seu papel na banda.Surge então a demo The ocean of Cristian Blood,com quatro faixas esmagadoras,hail,the ocean of cristian blood,Never Jesus e Bestial Metal,que revelam a verdadeira essência da Unholy,Ofensiva,brutal,verdadeiramente animal.
