The True Urban Queen

Who I'd like to meet:

A princess dreams of a fairytale life. She wants spoiled, pampered, and given the hearts desires. She dreams of marrying her prince charming and being swept away to the castle on the hill. A queen also believes in all those things. However, she understands that while all those things are wonderful. . . that is not always the reality. A queen understands that possessing this knowledge, does not mean she won't or can't have her dreams and desires. A queen knows that she has to go out and get what she wants. What she deserves. Who is a Queen? Queens are mothers, wives, head of household, single, childless, low-income, entrepreneurs, and CEO's. Queens are paying bills, maintaining homes, traveling, saving money, and going to school. Amazingly, we juggle all these roles and still sustain our sense of style. High heels are a staple of that style. When we put on high heels, we experience a change to our psyche. We feel powerful, sexy, beautiful, and sensual. And fortunately, sometimes they hurt our feet. Isn't that how life is? We become tired, stressed, and once in a while, our heart gets broken. We pause and wonder where is our happily ever after. Only for a moment. . . then we queens step forward and continue conquering in our heels.
