Zahrim was formed early 1994 by Aeljutor and The Demigod.
The years of ’94 & ’95 were spent writing and rehearsing for the first demo “Mashshagarannu”. In the spring of ’96 a rehearsal recording was made and in October the band finally recorded their first official demo.
Due to laziness and other more serious factors the tape didn’t surface in the underground until late ’98. The tape was limited to only 100 copies so naturally the response was limited.
Nevertheless… In early 2003 a friend of the band set the band in connection to the Swedish underground label Total Holocaust Records to release and finance the second recording by Zahrim.
In the meantime The Demigod had left the band and new long time member Lord Cruloz was hired. The same year Zahrim recorded their second offering which was “Ultu Muxxischa”. Released November 2003.
In 2005 Zahrim played their first live show ever. The show was played in Copenhagen as support to Watain. To this show Zahrim acquired help from long time friends and supporters of Zahrim – namely Ynleborgaz (Angantyr, Make A Change Kill Yourself, Holmgang) and Vrede (Holmgang, Vardlokkur). Much blood and guts were strewn about.
The third and latest recording by Zahrim is “Ia Zagasthenu” which was recorded in late 2006. It was released by Raging Bloodlust Records in spring 2006 on 10” vinyl Ep.
In 2007 there will be released a Cd under the title of “Liber Compendium Diabolicum” which will contain all three previous recordings. The Cd will be released by the German based label Black Devastation Records.
To support the release of this Cd Zahrim are playing several shows in Germany, Denmark & Belgium… Due to commitments in other bands Vrede and Ynleborgaz cannot participate in these shows. Therefore new session members Mordd, Krang and Pete, have been recruited.
