While a group gathers outside the Consulate, a delegation will deliver a letter to the people of Spain praising Judge Garzon for considering investigation of John Yoo, William Haynes, Jay Bybee, Donald Rumsfeld, Douglas Feith and Alberto Gonzales for war crimes, specifically torture.
A waterboarding demonstration will also take place.
Would YOU greet the person responsible for your imprisonment and torture in this fashion ? Makes it VERY hard to believe the official stories. And didn't the downed rate of American fighter pilots go up by 70% due to information retrieved from him during that period ? He is NO hero !
The American Constitution was a good start. However, it was marred in fraud from the start. Remember, the delegates that met in Philadelphia were only authorized to amend the Articles of Confederation. Never were they authorized to unilaterally impose a new form of government upon the Sovereign Republics in America.
The concept of "We The People" was designed to make it appear that the unified People of America had penned this new Constitution. It was rather pretentious of these delegates to speak for all the People on the Continent.
Unlike the founding fathers, we have the benefit of two centuries of "trials" and "errors." We can learn much from all that has unfolded.
Our new "Constitution" will not have the original sin of slavery embedded. Nor shall it contain the power to tax or create a Central Bank. It will be a purely voluntary document·
Part of the problem with the present American Constitution is that it isn't self-enforcing. There is no mechanism to punish members of government that violate the Constitution or that propose ways to defeat it with unconstitutional acts or law.
Much like medieval Europe needed a Martin Luther to "reform" the Church of Rome, it isn't unreasonable to reexamine the old 18th Century orthodoxy.
America needs an example. Individuals need an example of a country where liberty does in fact work. Perhaps, then a light bulb will go off.
