The Tuques are six piece all original Roots Rock group from the West Kootenays of British Columbia. Their stage show is an explosive display of talent combining hot licks and foot-stomping rhythms. The Tuques have recorded two albums in the past 4 years and are presently working on a third to be released early 2007. The Tuques are Canada's 1 "apres ski" band. "There are rippers who rock, and there are rockers who rip. And then there's Rossland B.C.'s band The Tuques who actually do both". Skier Magazine, Fall 2004.
Don't be fooled.
Important notice: Other bands are trying to ride our coat tails by using our band name with a different spelling: Touques or Toques. Only we are The Tuques baby! "THE ORIGINAL CANADIAN BAND!" since 1999. Keep it real with... THE TUQUES.
