Fran Bove of Ampthill, Bedfordshire has written a comedy Christmas song about a turkey and has recorded it in a quite unconventional way, all to raise money for Breast Cancer Care, the UK's leading provider of breast cancer information and support.
To raise money, Fran’s song will be released on general download on 17th December from www.theturkeysong.com
Fran said of the project:
“With the generous support of Carousel Sound Lab who have donated their time and facilities for free and a whole host of local musicians we have recorded a song about a turkey called Fred and his journey from farm to plate! The special thing about the recording is that each musician has heard the track and then added their own parts with almost no direction making it a very fluid project.
I have chosen to support Breast Cancer Care by donating all proceeds from the sales because my mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and subsequently underwent surgery. She received such great help and support from breast cancer care that I decided to give something back.”
