Originally formed by 3 members: Rui Martins Drums, Ricardo Santos Guitar & Luís Marques Keyboards, The Twilight Void were born in Portugal on September 1995 with the name of Lysergic Sounds of Dawn, having as basic ground the psychedelic experimentalism in a electro acoustic sense, based on the improvisation and conception of unorthodox musical structures.

In February 1996 they give their debut performance at the António Arroio Art School, followed by another aperance in 1997 at the "Toca a Abir" fest at Marquês Rock Club in Lisbon now bearing the name of Twilight Void, and in 1998 they meet the final of the 4th Festival of Modern Music of Loures with a different approach to experimental music that has revealed to be the following path since. .. a short passage of a 4th element (Miguel Oliveira - Bass) the band cessed their activity because of the lack of common goals, only to leave behind a handful of performances and the 1999 Blue Sun demo with the songs: Lysergic and Blue Sun.

In 2000 the drummer Rui Martins resumes the project with the help of his former band member: Ricardo Santos, now in a different format with the objective of recording a set of versions of the material, which defined their former faze, and naming it "Hiroshima". The experience led inevitably to the composition of new material that became the main priority. The new project was now more electronic but still with different approaches, which includes: ethnic, heavy, and experimental sounds, more matured, fruit of previous aspirations. The year was 2003 and name of that work was "Equinox", TTV debut album.

In April 2006 beguins the recording of "Tornado", a package of heavy electronica and the follow up of Equinox, as well as "Dub Sky", an unprobable Dub/Regae/Chill Out project in wich Ricardo Santos takes over the vocals. In 2008 TTV feature several apperences on the TDFZ Radio hosted by Chris Newman and in 20th September the Equinox Album is available for download on the New Cyber Warehouse - Sound Futures Direct website
