A letter to My Imperial Majesty, Zion Emmanuel Gaynor
Dear Zion,
My son, my inspiration, motivation; my reason for finding a reason to survive in any season, I won’t attempt to begin this letter by trying to describe this overwhelming and excruciating pain that mere words cannot even begin to articulate, so let me say a small percentage of what’s in my broken heart.
Lauren Hill was right, in what I describe as more than just a song, when she said “The joy of my world is in Zion” and indeed long before January 12, 2001 you were my world. I had a vision, and in it I saw your face and I kept hearing a part of that song being played in my head, saying, “Now let me pray to keep you from perils that must shortly come” and from that moment I dedicated my entire life to protecting you from life’s perils.
You were no accident: your mother and I meticulously planned and executed your arrival. Still, no planning could have prepared us or you for your struggles – still you endured. From the minute of your birth you were a warrior fighting to overcome the obstacles life hurled your way.
One obstacle you battled with was being diagnosed with autism at two years old. Envisioning your future struggles strengthened my resolve to succeed even more. That, coupled with the attention you required and the love I felt for you made me decide to wait on having other children. Even though you could not communicate effectively sometimes, you spoke the language of love fluently and this love was felt by most who were fortunate enough to grace your presence. Your innocence and the way you lived your life made your speech limitations seem insignificant. There was never a dull moment with you. You brought a joy to my life that was incomparable to none. For that reason, I promised myself that I would never let you suffer in this life like I suffered.
I miss you with every fibre of my existence. I may never live to understand why, but I know that there is a divine reason for your demise. This is the greatest pain I have ever endured, but the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men, so it is not for me to question the Lord’s work. You taught me humility and the full extent of life’s fragility. You kept me grounded. I considered and loved you more than the average child. I remember how you loved your mother dearly and she loved you just the same, so much so that she hardly wanted to lift a finger to you. Your love for me was so intense that you sometimes had to be severely restrained when I couldn’t take you with me and there was nothing in the world I hated more than seeing you cry, but every minute and micro-second that I spent away from you was dedicated to your upliftment.
I wanted you to have a home of your own so that you may never have to suffer at the hands of insensitive people who couldn’t look beyond what they considered limitations and see your needs. I wanted to make sure that when I die, you could live and no one could take advantage of you in this devil’s domain called earth.
As for your demise, the unanswered questions have left a sour taste in a lot of people’s mouths and we are all angry, but God says ‘leave all judgment unto Him’. Whoever is responsible, justice will approach them with swift wings. “Vengeance is mine,” saith the Lord and the gates of hell shall not prevail. Rest assured Zion, my prince, this great evil will not go unpunished.
I promise you’ll only sleep for a while and I know based upon your innocence, on that great judgment morning, a lot of people won’t have the privilege to walk in your direction. I know you’ll miss your father, but there is a Father greater than I who now holds your hand, ready to take you across the King’s Highway - He is the ultimate caretaker. Your precious little feet will walk the streets of pure gold where you will never die, never grow old, there you will have eternal Lasco, Chicken N Chips and Chubby, and you will be free of autism.
I pray the spirits of the ancestors will watch over you. You are now God’s hostage and I know that must walk closer to God so that I can see you again. I must trust God that He knows what He is doing. I will never forget you. I will teach your future siblings what you taught me about love and compassion. Your name will live on through the generations.
In my sight, concerning the act of getting children, you will be imitated but never duplicated and I will keep my covenant that I made with you by way of Isaiah 62:1: “For Zion sake I will not hold my peace, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest until the righteousness thereof go forth as a brightness and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.”
A lot of people who are crying for you now, are crying out of regret that they did not treat you according to your kingly status, but that’s just some people all over. They did the same to Christ and He forgave them, so you must forgive them also. They thought they had all the time in the world to show you, but now you are gone in the twinkling of an eye leaving so much pain behind. A lot of people are hurt and confused about your passing, but I have faith in God that justice will be served. As I remember his words: “Them that overcome and keep my covenant shall be given dominion of the wicked for an inheritance.” The joy of my world is still in Zion. You will live on and I will be thinking of you until the day of my death when you and the angels come for me and you happily escort me to my Lord and Master. Sleep on my son, it’s not goodbye, it’s good over evil. See you when I get there.

THE TWIN OF TWINS FOREVER STIRRING IT UP!!!
For the third time is three years, Curly Loxx and Tu Loxx "The Twin of Twins" have once again delighting "intelligent" dancehall fans worldwide with the next volume of their much beloved "Stir it Up" series. "Til Death Do Us Part." Stir it Up Volume 7. The best selling record to date, Volume 7 is a hilariously thought out and executed comedy, in which The Twins explore the many complex sides of love and relationships in their now famous "satirical comedic style." As usual this is done in their pseudo radio show format perfected on their last two 1 selling albums.
During the course of the one hour plus of music and comedy, the Twins stick with their winning formula. This consists of impersonating the voices of Jamaican and International Celebrities and having them interact and tackle various issues, along side an array of fictitious characters developed and cultivated from the creative mind of Curly Loxx. The list of characters include Ian LLyad and Mr. Muta once again as the combating hosts, along side a series of guests like Beenie, Bounty, D'Angel, Bob and Rita, Professor Abougani from Africa , Ras Whitey and many others. The new CD also features The Twin of Twins' Curly Loxx stepping forward and showing his Grammy Nominated song writing and performing skills on 4 brand new songs, including the current crowd pleaser "One Gal," The Twins musical take on the source of all the current controversy among various factions in the dancehall community. Another new single is "Tight like Glue" where the Twins and Mr Vegas deliver what may be their biggest commercial hit to date. A recent preview of their new CD on Youtube.com is an indication of the drawing power and popularity of The Twins, as it premiered in the Top 30 Comedy Videos in the World on its first day, and received honors for finishing in the Top 100 in its first week.
Spring/Summer 2007, has bee most significant professionally and the most tragic personally in the careers of the resilient Twins. With the untimely passing of Curly Loxx's young son Zion in February, the Twins have used this personal tragedy to inspire them to work even harder and focus their energy on the release of the album and the upcoming tour. Curly Loxx also wrote a touching and inspiring letter to his son, which is featured on their "myspace" page, Myspace.com/thetwinoftwins. The Twin of Twins have been making headlines and showing their diversity, as they are the first dancehall artistes in history to have the opportunity of being invited to appear at a seminar at Harvard University's School of Internet and Society. They were also once again featured in the world's biggest hip hop publications, Vibe Magazine's Feb 2007 issue, where they were praised as being "underground sensations." If all that isn't enough The Twins also embark on 20 city U.S. tour promoting their new album, and have just signed an exclusive deal with one of Europe's top booking Agents.
However, with all this critical acclaim, top selling albums, and demand internationally, The Twins still seem to get a fighting the strangest of places, right home in Jamaica. As the Vibe Magazine article mentioned, it is widely known within Jamaican Music industry circles, that The Twins have been deliberately excluded and from many of the major dancehall shows, school tours, industry functions, as well as press and media events on their native Island. This has not gone unnoticed by fans and supporters in the international press. They note how ironic it is that the Twins who offer something so uniquely different and refreshing to a stagnant dancehall scene, are not given more of a spotlight in the local Jamaican media outlets. Many critics say Dancehall Music has reached a dangerous level, where the negativity and violence has taken the fun out of a once joy full art form. The reason why The Twins popularity has reached new heights in spite of the struggle the industry is giving them, is quite simple. Now more than ever dancehall fans need uplifting and eloquent spokesmen like the Twins who are able to deliver socially relevant messages in a way that connects to ordinary people. More important however is now more than ever people need to laugh, and the brand of "Gangsta Comedy" that the Twins bring to the game is unmatched and uncontested as the funniest and most honest interpretation of reality on the streets.

In August of 2005, the Twin of Twins CD Stir it Up Vol.5 The Crucifiction of the Ghetto spent five weeks at Number 1 on the Jamaican X-News and Hot 102 album charts. An amazing 10 years after their first Stir it Up CD started bubbling underground, the Twins finally achieved the mainstream recognition that they had been diligently striving for their entire career. The 5th volume in the series perfected their formula of combining well crafted music from these Grammy Nominated songwriters, alongside biting social commentary, and comical interpretations of real life situations and people.
In the short time since the January, 2005 release of their groundbreaking Crucifiction of the Ghetto, demand for the Twins has lead them to perform at many of the major shows in Jamaica, including what Vibe Magazine called a brilliant performance on dancehall night of Reggae Sumfest. The Twin of Twins have done extensive touring of the US, Europe and many of the Caribbean islands, where their CD has achieved a cult status. Alongside the Billboard charting producer Henry K. who manages the record label, their Kingston 13 imprint has established its own independent worldwide distribution network, and has initiated an intensive internet presence.
In April 2006 they released of the highly anticipated new album Stir it Up vol.sicks The Resurrection of the Ghetto. Amazingly this CD reached number 1 on the local charts in July which gave them their second number one record in a one year period, making them the first artist in dancehall history to accomplish this. Recorded in their private studio in Kingston, with Henry K engineering and mixing, the CD continues to feature some of the characters that the public has embraced with such vigor, and as always will shock and surprise listeners with new voices from the Jamaican and the International music scene. A new twist to this CD is the inclusion of some the hit singles the Twins have recently recorded for other producers, further cementing their reputation as world class Djs. Also they have recorded a song with double Grammy Winner Damian Jr. Gong Marley,"Gangstas and PIMPS, which is the first single from their new album. Because of the street buzz generated by the song Tuff Gong records will be releasing the single and marketing to an international audience in August. The Twins have acquired street credibility for an unwavering stance on issues that connect with everyday people. This stance has created a loyal following that has helped The Twins build an independent, self reliant infrastructure that lets them take their message and music directly to the people. The fact that the Twins can have 2 Top 10 selling CDs, in spite of pirating, and without a music video or radio hit single, shows their power draw listeners, record buyers and concert audiences.
