16/07/08 - VOODOO SIX are coming back to The Twist for a headline show on Friday Sept 19th. They were mighty impressive a few weeks back when they supported Blaze and I know a lot of you have been asking when would they be back. Well here it is. Tickets on sale now at £6.

The Download Warm Up Festival is taking shape nicely with confirmed bands so far FOREVER NEVER, CARVED FROM VIOLENCE, SANCTORUM, EXOTERICA, CIVILLIAN, KENAI, UNLEASH: THE FURY & THE DISHONOURED. Lots more to be added over the next few days. The shows will take place on Fri June 6th & Saturday June 7th (all dayer). Tickets will be on sale shortly.

11/3/08 - The Finalists for The Twist Metal Battle of The Bands 2008 will be CARVED FROM VIOLENCE + CIVILLIAN + EXOTERICA + OVERRIDER on Friday 21st March. Tickets now on sale. There will also be a special guest performance from BEYOND ALL REASON. Judging will be carried out by an independent panel of industry judges.

20/2/08 - After consultation with the local Council & Police we will now be able to put on a limited number of 14+ shows here at The Twist giving young bands the chance to play at the premier live music venue in Essex and the chance for young music fans to see some fantastic bands, right on their doorstep. There is a new club night being put on at the twist in conjunction with outside promoters and the twist music venue itself. There will be DJ's playing most styles of music, cheap drinks, and the main event, a guitar hero competition! Come on down to check out CLUB COLLISION.
