the hurricanes formed in summer 2005 when they were asked to get together for a festival appearance in the UK.
The gig went down really well & THE HURRICANES were born.
They share a love of the great music of the stones neil young bob dylan & all the greats.
Comprising of members Vince Whirlwind on Lead vocals & guitar, & Johnny Cyclone on vocals guitar & recently the mandolin(a christmas gift from moma & poppa Hurricane)
The Hurricanes play blues, rock , country AND western & play loads of shows in the UK. The Hurricanes when not propping up the bar, really put on a show playing really loose versions of classic songs from the last fifty years (excluding the 80s- Vince refuses to play any song from the 80s) oh yes & they don't play any Paul Mcartney either (Vince refuses) But when it comes to the rolling stones, johnny cash or neil young you'll be hard pushed to hear better renditions anywhere in the world!
