Sounds Like
A long tailed cat in a warehouse full of rocking chairs, but we like it.
Two sound booth technicians at a church decided that they sounded pretty good singing together and that they shared a love of folk music. Since the church already had a praise band they combined for bluegrass gospel fun.
Tom and Erik first played with Laura Yax accompanying on autoharp. Later Carole Meadows started singing along with them and then Dan Pazdersky brought his mandolin. Dan left when his wife was given a new church to preach in, and Laura left to pursue a folk group.
Bobby Purdum joined for a while, but left for a more traditional bluegrass sound with no Christmas music. Willie Davis brought his banjo and good humor, and then Dee Latchaw finally decided that she couldn't get Tom to stop this nonsense so she learned the mandolin and joined in.
That's where we are today. Other pickers that have played with us from time to time are Amy Diehl, Jack Craig, and a Dobro player named Dennis.
That's about it. Hope you come listen to us sometime.
