The Underground is a college radio show on 90.5 WASU at Appalachian State University. It thrives on playing Indie, local and other under-the-radar rock music. It's run by Daniel and Amelia, two DJ's who are trying to educate you on all those bands you hear but don't know who the hell they are!

-The Local Spotlight of the Week: Each week we play cuts from up and coming local bands and tell you what they're all about.
-The 11:11 Wish List: Where we play all your independent requests from the week. Call-in, drop us an email or a message here and when the clock hits 11:11 we'll play your requests.
-The Off-the-Wall Track: This is when we go a little crazy and play that one song that makes you say wtf, where did that come from? 70's,80's, 90's, rock, rap, indie, anything! You never know what we'll play next so catch the Off-the-Wall Track and add a little spice to your life.
Who I'd like to meet: People who love music and want to hear something a little different than what's played on mainstream radio.
Also local bands who are interested in getting their music on the radio.
