About me:
Grew up in River Grove, a small nieghborhood, bordering Chicago. Sometime in grade school my buddy Louie and I formed BWF. We started to play some music at partys in peoples basements and garages, and soon took over schools, churchs, and Moose halls.
Entering High School my energy shifted. The crew and I formed The Infamous Budd Street Posse, we did nothing but throw partys and have a good time.
After High School I opened my first business in Melrose Park, Cock Robin Ice Cream Parlor, with my buddy Brock. We spent the days working our ass off and the nights partying our ass off. After a great eight year run we sold the property.
Imediately we had the oppurtunity to join up with two other RG Boys Bob E P and Dave "stegs" to purchase the legendary Buddys Sports Bar in Franklin Park. We blew the place up with historic partys and awesome live music which showcased some great local talent. After an action packed three year run we sold the property and pursued other ventures.
Holding a nine to five for six months, and faced with the reality that I don't want to work a nine to five. A man made an offer I could not refuse. The oppurtunity to take over 9400 Grand Ave. After a little time and lots of love and support from friends and family the Underpass was born.
A small venue all ready getting the rep for a good time, and embracing the diversity of Chicagoland. We have been host to great rock acts, hip hop acts, and have showcased the talent of many artist and DJs
