The Understudy has been a long time in the making. The earliest form of this band was know as From Here Forward. After a period of inactivity several members of From Here Forward got back together and started writing again. With new wind in their sails The Understudy was heading in a new musical direction. Singer Nick Riley leaves his piano behind as he pushes his vocals to an even higher level. Guitarist Zach Hord embraces the new direction and crafts his licks from his many years of experience and hard work. Jackson Tyler and John Mann hold it all the pieces together.

Yes!!! The new song sounds great!! it kinda gives me a paramoresk vibe. But the only tinyyyy complaint i have with it is that i feel that nicks vocals sound a little dry in the mix during the chorus, i feel it needs some reverb or delay or something. it just seems that his note ends to sudden on rotine and be, you know? but yeah everything sounds freaking amazing! Keep it up guys!!
