Together since 1999, The United Waste are a local band based out of southern West Virginia. Brandishing anthemic progressions, politically charged lyrics and power metal solos their sound remains tricky to define. Shunning modern "punk rock" and "hardcore", they strive to write music to please the senses and yet assault them at the same time.
Touching on such subjects as war and abortion, The United Waste attempt to open the eyes of the sedated masses through their music. Whether you support or oppose their points of view, they wish to draw attention to important issues.
With influences ranging from Conflict to Megadeth, The United Waste hope to appeal to a wide array of listeners.
