Now that I've wasted
five years in Manhattan
life decaying
talent a blank
talking disconnected
patient and mental
sliderule and number
machine on a desk
autographed triplicate
synopis and taxes
obedient prompt
poorly paid
stayed on the market
youth of my twenties
fainted in offices
wept on typewriters
deceived multitudes
in vast conspiracies
deodorant battleships
serious business industry
every six weeks whoever
drank my blood bank
innocent evil now
part of my system
five years unhappy labor
22 to 27 working
not a dime in the bank
to show for it anyway
dawn breaks it's only the sun
the East smokes O my bedroom
I am damned to Hell what
alarmclock is ringing
-Ginsberg, 1963

I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!-Tom Waits
Who I'd like to meet:
personas como espejismos y un decente noches de sueno.
i don't know my address and my parents are asleep but i will get it to you in a couple hours. 3 days it is... can't wait! wish you were here to play with me now!
Very beautiful, I love you too. Its not that I never liked Boulder- for a time it worked fo rme. I just am a Brooklyn girl so I wanted to come home once you grew up. I hope you make it back this way. I really love being in Brooklyn, its like the oasis of culture and everyone is so real. Very, very real.. Andrew is so Greek and so Brooklyn. No wonder I feel the way I do about him.
I have to go get another CD player. I tried to listen to my CD you gave me and the machine only got through one song. I miss you and wanted to hear the songs.
I climbed a mountain and I turned around. Did you listen to that song by Fleetwood Mac- Landslide? It describes me taking you to Boulder and eventually coming back here. A landslide brought me down.
ooo i miss you so much. i keep seeing this guy aroung st. marks. this really goth guy who wears big platform boots and has a big black mohawk, eyeliner and sometimes he has black lipstick. i saw him at grand central yesterday when we were going to nanny's and he pointed at me.
I'm in france for a family wedding. two people gettin wedded. and what's funny is that they're cousins (albeit 4th or 5th cousins). anyhow, im coming back to boulder in early july for a hot minute and would love to catch you and reel you in with the steaming scent of musk that drips off my rock-hard body. plan?
Also, If you come in July, I won't be there. Unless you are thinking more around August because I'm going to be back in Portland no later than August 1st, but probably only a few days before that, and then Im going to have 'hectic-move-time-get-a-job-go-to-school'
