Up ensemble is a trio of youthful but experienced musicians who are committed to creating a unique brand of instrumental music. The members are influenced by music of all eras and all parts of the world, and bring those influences to bear on a wide ranging and ambitious repertoire of jazz standards, pop tunes, world folk music, and originals.
Up ensemble strives to create a unique blend with their instruments, and to present those sounds in a relaxed, fun, and entertaining manner. The musicians all share a deep commitment to bringing uncompromising, acoustic music to a general music audience.
Up ensemble has been performing steadily since 2001, and their third CD, the self titled Up ensemble was released October 15, 2005.
