U.P.I.A. stands for “The United Paranormal Investigators Association” which is a diverse group of paranormal investigators who have come together with the desire to make the unknown known. Originally known as the WPPA (Western Pennsylvania Paranormal Association), the group made its name change after investigations started to stretch beyond western PA. And there you have it…the U.P.I.A.
