Paul Mattor was 5 or 6 when he smashed his dad's hibachi, using it as a drum in his first garage band Three Garbage Can Fright. Sorry Dad, I never 'fessed up. A true 70's kid, he cut his teeth playing The Cars, GoGos, Stones, and Talking Heads for free lobster and underage beer. Paul spent many years playing tenor banjo in a one man act of old time songs about cheap drugs and expensive wimm'n. This culminated in passing glory- 20 minutes with Phish backing up at a UVM Earth Day celebration in 1986. Some years later, in a midlife crisis-inspired act of desperation, he's got some real equipment and lays down the bass groove.
