For about a year, Urban Blues has been tearing up stages around SD. And thats an
impressive fact considering therere no real blues venues in the state.
Although many people say, I dont like the blues, after hearing a few tunes, theyre out movin their feet on the dance floor. After Jazzfest 2006 in Sioux Falls, where Urban Blues played the second stage, many audience members say the band was better than many of the headline acts. No kidding, Im not making this up.

Hello from Aberdeen...you guys should make your way up here sometime...we plan to be in Sioux Falls in the early part of 2007. Have some things in the works...hope to cross paths soon! Keep it goin!!!
We're back home in Tel Aviv, kicking back after a grueling 2 month US tour. We'd like to thank all our gracious hosts for putting us up on the road, all the bands we had the pleasure of sharing the stage with and all our fans and supporters in the US for making this our best tour yet!
We miss you all and we'll see you again in 2007, sooner rather than later, we hope.
We're now working on the release of our second album, "Virgin No. 72", which will be available for purchase online through our Myspace page as of today!! An official release date will be announced soon.
To all our Israeli friends, hang tight, no shows yet. We'll play a lot of shows when the album's out, we promise!
And last but not least, to all our European friends, we're planning a Summer 2007 European tour, so if you're in a band, own a club or a booking agency and would like to help in any way, please get in touch with us ASAP!

Thanks for finding us! We like to convert folks who thought they did not like blues too. It is fun and why our motto is "Blues is more than cry in your beer music".
