The word is out and the buzz is already growing for newcastles newest and hottest rock band "The Urge" who came together under a year ago and have already recorded their debut album "Lunch At The Ladygarden".Work began recording the album at Wild Trax studios with Frankie Gibbon engineering and the legendary "John Miles " (of "Music Was My First Love" fame) producing.They set out to write some kick ass rock'n' roll songs with great strong melodies and thats just what they acheived.The band are good friends with legendary AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson and on hearing the album he liked it so much he came down and hung out in the studio for a beer or two and ended up singing on one of the tracks "Blue Steel"And with the album now completed the band have signed there record deal and are embarking on live dates with Gary Moore and The Hooters.So,with there debut album 'Lunch At The LadyGarden' now released and the boys coming to rock a town near you it won't be long before eveyone is getting The Urge!!!!!!
Hi The Urge. Thanks a lot for the friendship and welcome onboard. I have seen you in 2007 on tour with Saga here in Germany/Lueneburg. It was a brilliant and powerful show. Thanks for it and for the autographs after the show. In this moment I here your CD "Lunch at..". My favs are "She made me do it" and "Easy chair".
