The Vagabond Presents BACK DOOR BAMBY’S DYSFUNCTIONAL FREAKOUT FREAKFEST
---
Bamby’s Naughty Misfits and sultry Sex Kittens are deliciously deviant all year round, so this Halloween the main attraction won’t just be the Dirty Girls’ naughty exploits. The ladies of Shameless Burlesque will be performing throughout the night to the Defunkt disco of Soho Phase DJs Frank and Richie, and there will be airbrush body painting on the patio by Michael Salinas. But in this Dysfunctional Freakout Freakfest the main attraction will be you…

The Vagabond and Back Door Bamby Present THE JUNIOR BOYS with WOODHANDS
---
The Canadian electronic music duo Junior Boys have opt out of the automation-heavy ease which has marred so many live electronic music acts as of late, choosing instead to brandish actual drums and keyboards. And this isn’t just relevant to their studio work: they scoff at the hefty baggage fees which have driven many to leave their bulky equipment at home and pack all their gear neatly into a carry-on laptop case. As of late, their oft-remixed “In The Morning” has enjoyed a lot of recognition, both in the record store and on the dance floor. But it was their 2003 release “Birthday” - functioning as a sly IDM intro to progressive-house superstar Sander Kleinenberg’s 2004 mixtape This is Everybody Too - that really put them on the map. They’ll be coming to The Vagabond as a stop on their North American tour, accompanied by synthesizer-virtuosos Woodhands.
The Vagabond and Back Door Bamby Present LEE BURRIDGE & DANNY HOWELLS
---
Lee Burridge has been a fixture at Back Door Bamby for quite some time, but this Saturday he’ll be bringing fellow partner in crime Danny Howells for a night of glorious beats, bass lines, mischief, and mayhem. Never a dull moment with them…
Burridge and Howells have both been important fixtures at two of London’s most respected residencies. Lee Burridge, alongside Sasha and Craig Richards, founded the infamous “Tyrant” residency at club Fabric, and Danny Howells has spun at John Digweed’s “Bedrock” Residency since its inception.
We are doing a tour with "the sounds" but really miss the vagabond and hope we can find our way back into your arms asap! Hopefully we will see some of you at revolution on sept-30th !
Vega is best known for his productions under the name “Masters at Work,” a duo consisting of himself and Kenny ‘Dope’ Gonzales. Their formative tracks, such as “I can’t Get No Sleep” and “Work,” have come to define the sound of house music. Louie's sound is deep, funky, and organic with no shortage of soul and draws on disco, Latin, jazz, and even hip-hop.
For his bi-monthly “Dance Ritual” residency his programming spans entire history of dance music, from disco and salsa to funk, soul, and house.
Tech-house luminaries Heidi and Audiofly will be coming to The Vagabond for wondrous night of driving basslines, delightfully deep grooves, and booming tech-rific dancefloor killers.
Heidi hails from Berlin, Germany. She's currently with Get Physical records, and has been a staple on the scene ever since meeting Richie Hawtin in 1997. Her programming is across the board from minimal subwoofer-rattlers, dirty and deep tech-house groovers, to conga-filled tribal madness.
Audiofly hails from Barcelona, Spain and have releases on a myriad of labels, such as Toolroom, Viva Music, and Nervous records. Their sound ranges from deep and dark to techy and bouncy while touching on everything in between.
