The Valentines are a brighton based band who formed in 2009, consisting of singer Christian Jegard, Bassist Chris Lowe, Guitarists Chris Leader and Danny Curtis, and drummer Carlito's Way. Their plan from the start was to make fun, proper songs that sound like they're sprinkled in Sugar and glitter... to smash melodies out for everyone to fall in love with/to. They are not lying when they say they have all the power and style of a helicopter. After a handful of gigs in Brighton, the word spread of their energetic live performances - not to mention the catchy hooks and glam-pop melodies. They were soon hand-picked to be the support act on Babyshambles december tour, and after creating a buzz in the english music scene through their live shows and glowing reviews from Radio 1, the Observer etc, are in the process of releasing their first proper EP release.
