The band consisted of: Richard Stone - Various Guitars / Vocals John Coppola - Electric, Acoustic, and Double Bass / Vocals Hank Rueter - Percussion / Tubanos / Midi / and occasional full kit
Their only CD, "Psycho Rodeo", was released and picked up nationally by several distribution chains. They traveled up and down the east coast from GA to NYC, promoting their release in venues from tiny coffee houses to CBGB's Gallery and Crazy Horse in New York City.
About a year into the time that the band was together , The VanDangos were hosting an open mic night at the Grog and Tankard in Washington, D.C., when they heard Seth Kibel play saxophone. He was, and still is, an amazing player of Sax, Clarinet and Flute.
Seth joined the band, and made the band's raw, live jams all that much better.
Some live recordings of the band survived. So just in case there are some people out there in cyber space that care to listen for the first time, or re-live some memories of the band, these songs have been posted here for your enjoyment.

In lot of ways you have that NRBQ feeling and not because you sound like'em. I've been warned years ago that the DC area on the east coast has some seriously great music going on!
