 
I, like so many before me, have been inspired by the amazing works of JK Rowling and all the other awesome wrock bands out there. I love music and I love Harry Potter, so after being introduced to wizard rock I thought I just had to challenge my abilities a little and write something about the series we all love. And so, I have started The Vanishing Cabinet.
Why The Vanishing Cabinet you may ask? It took me a long time to think of a name. I didn't want to go with a character as I wanted to have a wide variety of songs, so I went through the books and made a list of things that would sound cool as a band name. Then I came across the vanishing cabinet, which I have always thought would be a neat thing to play with. I mean... who wouldn't be curious to know where you would end up if you stepped inside. Or perhaps you are an Slytherin like me and would stuff someone else inside. ;) You evil Slytherin you!
