We are having an Open Call for Artists for the first Annual Bands,
Babes & Burlesque Show to be held the weekend of the Billet Proof
Car Show in Historic Downtown Centralia, June 26th, 2010 @ 8pm. This
event benefits the Jupiter Arts Center, a non-profit grassroots
collaborative working to provide art resources/education to the greater
Centralia community. Help bring back Art & Culture to this
conservative region of WA state!
The Bands, Babes & Burlesque Show is looking for dance performers,
comedy, 'old skool' pin up girls, aerial artists, drag performers,
rock-a-billy style music performers, bellydancers for this show. The Billet Proof Car
Show will be bringing about 3,000 people to town for their event and
the Bands, Babes & Burlesque is the Saturday Night entertainment
venue of choice. This is a 21 and over event.
All proceeds will benefit the Jupiter Arts Center and the Historic Fox Theatre Restoration Project.

SuperTrash Performance at the Bagdad; It takes all kinds, they say. Weirdness makes the world go 'round and 'round like an old fashion Ferris Wheel. We at The Vaudevillains believe that wheel needs to keep on turning or else we're all doomed to the toxic stagnation of banality. It's not as much a resurgence of old time values or concepts, but a reworking, reorganizing, restructuring, reconfiguring, reconstituting reproduction resurrected from the ashes of a pre-celluloid world. A neo-nostalgic experiment in form and stage. A dance around dark humor mixed with stunning visuals. We want to share these ideals with the world..with everyone out there.
