THE VAUDEVILLAINS ALBUM LAUNCH 'Welcome to the neighbourhood'
The Vaudevillains exploded into the tight knit psychobilly scene, quickly gaining attention with their musicianship, energy and un-deniable originality.
It wasn’t long before their sound was recognized – it was just six months of playing live shows before a support slot with psychobilly legends Nekromantix was offered to them. Accepting gladly, the Melbourne three piece have not looked back. It is no surprise that it became a top seller in the local independent scene after Tiger Army (US), Mad Sin (GER), Meteors (GER) and local heroes Zombie Ghost Train all took on the Vaudevillains for support slots based on the strength of the 5 track recording.
A short listen to their latest release Welcome to the Neighbourhood will quickly justify their rapid growing success. The music pushes the boundaries of many genres, creating something truly unique and exciting that punters everywhere are excited to be a part of. Reaper, the opening track of the album, is a fiery psychobilly anthem with smooth lyrics, driving jazz bass and a guitar line that is finger picked all rolled into an exciting story. Trip to the Moon highlights the country and jazz elements in the band whilst still rocking enough to have punters going wild. Their single to be released Neighbourhood, is a three minute explosion of haunting rockabilly meets alternative rock and is tipped to win fans all over the word upon it’s release.
The Album Welcome to the Neighbourhood will hit stores in August through Amphead, and will be digitally available through Amphead/The Orchard.

Hello to all, Just thought we'd stop by and say thank you ,to all the awesome bands that have sent in their material which has been aired on the show throughout the years.
We have had an exceptional response through myspace from some of the most talented underground musicians in the world . It is your contribution to our show that show people that there are still actually real musicians out there [and rap is surely not damn music, neither is that techno crap].
Undergroundsounds airs throughout Australia Thursday/Saturdays p.m.
Bands that would like their music aired on any future shows can forward their material to the address below;
