   關於 The Velcro Leaves [get AQUARIUM free]





In a mathematical industry, The Velcro Leaves are defying the equation by creating music that relies on experimental variables. This avant garde indie outfit consists of Jonathan, Jane, and Andrew, yet strives for diverse collaboration. With impromptu rhythms and free-ranging arrangements, the music relies on sonic texture as often as melody. Equal parts cosmic and aquatic, this is audio art that challenges convention.



Releases:
"AQUARIUM" (Only $6 at thevelcroleaves.com!) -- 9/2009 (digitally) 10/2009 (physically). Words never tell the whole story, so what can be told about this release from these two eccentric minds is quite pointless. But it's worth a try anyway. This post-modern piece explores contrasts and sonic textures. It's avant garde mentality is complemented with diverse and imaginative instrumentation, impromptu arrangements, and poetic tendencies. This is a lush record; part aquatic, part cosmic.

hey!
theres a kinda new coffee shop that opened up around where i live.
its smallish and kinda dumpy but if you want to play there heres the myspace link,

its a really friendly place and the people who own it are really nice.
when they have a band or something theres all ways a pretty good crowd.
and if you do play there i'll be sure to get people to go, i'll make flyers or something haha.
