THE VELVEETA ROOM OPEN MIC RULES

1. Sign up is done on the Velveeta Forum. www.thevelveetaroom.com You will need a id name and I will need to know your real name to sign up for the open mic. Go to the velveeta room ye old smellveeta. Look for the open mic date you want to sign up for and leave your name not forum id. If you do not sign up you will not be on the list. Signing up will not guarantee you a spot on the list.

2. Deadline for sign up is the Monday at mid-night for that Thursday. I will post the list for Thursday by Tuesday at noon.

3. Show time is at 9:30 pm. Doors open at 9:00 pm. You must check in between 9:00 and 9:30 to perform that evening.

4. The host runs the list ONLY. Please keep your time tight in respect for all of the other comics. Any bumps, adds, or changes must be made through booker/bartender Dana Smith.

5. The list will be capped at 33 comics. 20 @ 3 minutes 10 @ 6 minutes and 3 @ 10 minutes. This should make a nice two and a half hour show.

6. If you work hard and get funnier each time, you will move up the list and get more stage time.

7. It is our hope that these changes makes the show, THE BEST OPEN MIC IN THE COUNTRY

8. These rules go into effect July 2, 2009.
