"Vestige:
a mark, trace, or visible evidence of something that is no longer present or in existence"
Formerly known as Aspyre, The Vestige strives to blend different audio and visual elements to create a complete musical experience. Mixing ambient, orchestral sounds and rock with a combination of major and minor harmonies, The Vestige is creating something new to the music scene that is both unique and intriguing.
The Vestige created a 3 song EP early in 2006 and have recorded one song (Safe and Sound) since. They have played with several notable bands (including Blackpool lights, Houston Calls, The Hard Lessons, Just Surrender, House of Fools, and Tokyo Rose) and are planning on playing many shows around Michigan in the next year and preparing for a tour in the near future.
The Vestige (is in the studio!)'s Friend Space (Top 7)
hiiii, i wanted to drop by and let you know that we just got a few new members in our band. Joel and Sarah Stuk, they are brother and sister and they totally rock it out. We have a few new pictures on our page with them. it would be great if you could take a minute to stop by our page and leave a comment to welcome them into the band :)
For fans of great indie rock such as Death Cab for Cutie, this show is going to be a blast! The Silent Years was Spin Magazine's 2007 Underground Band of the Year, and 2008 was even bigger for them! And don't forget to check out Northpilot on Thursday, June 5 at 8pm for an interview and live acoustic performance on the Impact 88.9 FM. www. impact89fm. org
Hi there The Vestige (is in the studio!) first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't lose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
We have also built a pretty big music community which you are welcome to join if you want to meet new artists like yourself!
I'm not sure if you have had a chance to vote for us to play this years cornerstone festival, but if you haven't we would really appreciate it if you could help us out. All you have to do is go to Cornerstonefestival dot com to place a vote. Again, we are trying real hard to get to the top, so every vote counts. Thanks so much!
I can't wait to get the CD done and do some shows where I can hopefully meet some of you.
I wish I had a time machine and could blast forward and start doing shows tomorrow.

The Vestige (is in the studio!) ... Yo what up?!? Tired of 90% of the junk on the radio? You can now hear our killer mix of Funk-Rock Hip-Hop online. It's funky fun like Outkast Chili Peppers on serious energy like Rage and 30 Seconds to Mars ... but clearly NOT rehashed disco funk or anger rap metal. The answer to “Who’s your Daddy?” combined with the love of Yo Mama, critics say Ballistic Groove is the highly acclaimed New Sound you’ve been waiting for! Join the Groove Ballers and check it at MySpace.com/BallisticGroove ... Peace & respect -BG
