... the candid thoughts of adolescence coalescing with the realizations of adult hood. Sounds like a gear turning relentlessly with only a host of instruments to capture its production.
Casual interest in music had always been a part of Patrick Morales' life. The need and will to share it with the rest of the world didn't really start until he was thrusted into one of the harshest environments on the planet- The Bering Sea. Armed with nothing but a toy guitar and a bevy of artifacts from his previous life he set out to do work in his field. He worked on two boats that summer collecting data and spent his down time playing his toy guitar and writing music. The two boats he worked on were The Viking and The Progress and thus The Viking Progress was born.
