The Vindicators were formed in the fall of 2004 by Blair Glover, ex-guitarist of Thee Phantom 5ive and also a founding member of The Embalmers and The Malt Liquor Kings. The original line up of the Vindicators was made up of Lowry Clark on bass, along with former Embalmers member Dan Sloan on drums and Richard James of Richard James and the Special Riders on guitar. Richard left in the fall of 2005 to concentrate on his own band The Special Riders. The summer of 2006 saw the departure of Dan Sloan from the band and the Vindicators took time off to regroup. Winter of 2006 brought new life to the band when Rod Dammit filled the position of drummer. Rod's primal drum beat was part of what was missing from the sound of The Vindicators. Finally, in summer of 2007 , Misty Waters otherwise known as Misty Valentine was the missing link of the combo rounding out the sound on the Vox Jaguar organ.
