THE BASICS

The Vinnys are a father and son acoustic duo based in The Jersey Shore area. VINNY SR. has 30+ years of experience performing in NJ, up and down the East Coast, Seattle, LA, Germany, The Isle of Man, Ireland, Canada and England. He performed in early classic rock bands playing electric/acoustic and singing, played in acoustic duos with various female singers, played in guitar/drum duos as well as solo. He also promoted and booked bands in the USA and England. VINNY JR. has been singing since age 5 and picked up the guitar at age 12. He's performed at the Ocean County College with Uncle Floyd (of the Uncle Floyd music TV show), First Night Ocean County, the Boardwalk in Seaside Heights (sponsored by Pepsi), the 4th Heart Convention (which included a performance by guitarist Roger Fisher), PNC Arts Center for Verizon Wireless live, private parties, festivals, The Deck at Trump Marina hotel/casino in Atlantic City, and local coffee houses. In 2008, at age 17, Vin teamed up with his Dad to form The Vinnys. Since then, they have performed at various venues all around NJ, NY, and events including The Today Show on NBC and America's Got Talent. Their songs were also featured on the WMB Radio Show. Ending 2010, they were nominated in the top 300 out of millions for the 2010 Artist on The Verge. In 2011, The Vinnys made their debut on i Tunes featuring an acoustic demo of "The Truth Is A Lie", which is also available through Amazon. The rest of the year saw them performing for various Relay 4 Life charity events and venues throughout the East Coast. The Vinnys were featured recently on The Ovation Guitar official website performing live for Ovation Guitar's Live Road Show Series. The new acoustic songs are streaming live on WKIM Radio and their interview can be heard there also. They have been featured in The Ocean County Patch news reel in the month of December. At the start of 2012, The Vinnys made their official debut in Atlantic City, performing at Bally's Hotel & Casino in January at Harry's . Other venues The Vinnys performed at during the year included venues in Atlantic City , New York City, Orlando, Kissimmee and stops at Maynards Cafe , King P's, As we begin to recover here from Hurricane Sandy at The Jersey Shore we hope to be performing at many of our favorite venues in 2013, The 1st show of the year Kicked off in January 6th at The Boneyard Club in Atlantic City. New songs will be coming soon as well as show dates ,

The Vinnys perform their own versions of songs from many bands and artists including: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, David Bowie, The Cranberries, Paramore, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Goo Goo Dolls, Styx, U2, No Doubt, Garbage, Cheap Trick, Elton John, Pearl Jam, Joan Jett, Alanis Morissette, Rolling Stones, The Cure, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Tegan & Sara and many many more. In addition, Vinny Jr. & Vinny Sr. have a wide range of original songs they perform solo and as a duo.
