THE VINNYS ARE A 6 and 12 STRING ACOUSTIC FATHER & SON DUO
based in the Jersey Shore area. They are currently performing songs from the last 3 decades requested by their fan base as well as their own music projects. VINNY has 30 years of experience performing in NJ, up & down the East Coast, Seattle, LA, Germany, Canada, The Isle of Man, Ireland, England & UK Festivals. VIN has been singing since age 5 & picked up the guitar at age 12. He's played at the Ocean County College with Uncle Floyd (of the Uncle Floyd music TV show), the boardwalk in Seaside Heights (sponsored by Pepsi), the 4th Heart Convention (which included a performance by Roger Fisher of Heart), the Ocean County Mall, PNC Arts Center for Verizon Wireless live, private parties, festivals, The Deck at Trump Marina hotel/casino in Atlantic City, & local coffee houses. At age 17, Vin teamed up with his Dad to form The Vinnys. They have been performing & recording most of 2009 at some great venues & events like The Today Show, America's Got Talent, Citi Field, Atlantic City, New York, New Jersey, Florida & Pennsylvania to name a few.
THE VINNYS answers to FAQs:
There are 2 Vinnys: one father, one son.
Vin is still a senior in high school. Vinny is not.
Pictures performing have been restricted by their law group for now.
They are booked through 2010 but consider some venues.
They both sing & play guitars.
They are doing cover songs because they cannot release their material until Vin graduates from high school.
They do not use auto-tune.
Recordings are 6 & 12 string acoustic guitars.
They help friends/bands by posting bulletins, performance dates & videos from time to time.
November was a busy month for The Vinnys recording & performing. They have shows in Atlantic City, New York & New Jersey in December. Busy, busy, dizzy :)
The Cranberries reunited for 3 amazing shows in NJ, NY & Philly. They performed a 20 song set & yet another band in 2009 that played for 2 hours, met their fans & just rocked! Tori's new Holiday CD "Midwinter Graces" debuted on the 11th. She's performing in New York the 7th thru 12th including Letterman,CNN & The Artist's Den. The year 2010 looks quite busy with maybe another Today Show, America's Got Talent & Citi Field performance. Paramore will be back in the Spring for another leg of the BNE Tour with a May 1st show in New Jersey already scheduled. Rumor has it that Roger Waters might be doing a 30 year tribute to "The Wall" tour ;)

The grand opening of the Local Shack in Lakewood, NJ was wonderful. They're performing there again in Dec and Jan. The atmosphere is fantastic as well as the food & entertainment. Good Luck Donna & Peter. The musicians who perform are seasoned & they leave their ego's at the door :)
Atlantic City is wonderful & they can't wait to go back. They've been offered to perform there 8 days a week but school is in session :)
